Grogeous green maxi dress.

Love the leaf print on this beautiful dress.

The yellow clutch is a great pop of color.

I am definitely not shy about color. I adore nothing more than a bold lip, love winter pastels and all the bright summer palettes that we are now seeing. There are however, certain colors that I do not own and never try on. One such shade would be green. I have no logical explanation for why, except that I do not gravitate towards this color at all.

When I saw this dress in one of my Stitch Fix boxes, my immediate thought was  this is definitely going back. It is something I would never pull off the rack or look twice at while out shopping. In the spirit of the box, I always try everything on. So with a very closed mind I slipped the dress on. Seriously, magic.

Love the contrasting prints between the dress and the belt.

Gorgeous maxi dress, perfect for the warmer temperatures.

Not only was the fit of the dress perfect, but the color. Love!!! Green, why have I not given you a fair shot before? I now vow to not shy away from this color, or others that I tend to look away from (orange I’m coming for you next). Don’t be afraid to step out of your comfort zone a bit and try something new on. A new color, or perhaps a new silhoutte. You never know you might actually find yourself in love.

Green and yellow compliment each other so nicely.

Such a great leaf print.

Sticking with varying shades of green, the back on this dress is amazing! A bit more expensive but I love the green leaf print on this dress. And these tassel earrings are so cute, a definite must.

Here are a few more items that take me out of my comfort zone 🙂
