If there is one thing you might have noticed by now, it’s that I love all things cozy. The running theme throughout most of these posts is a cozy, casual look. I love soft fabrics, chunky knits, warm scarves and lots of comfy layers. This slight obsession carries over into my daily life as well. With this crazy cold winter we are having here, I thought I’d share a few cozy things I do in my daily life and within my home.

There is nothing better than being wrapped up in a warm, soft blanket while the snow falls outside. I have blankets in every room and in some cases multiples blankets per room. You don’t need to spend a lot of money on these, although every year I lust over the fur ones from Pottery Barn. They really look so amazing and I’m pretty sure I would never leave the couch if I owned one. Anyway, I’ve picked up some really cute and cozy ones from Home Goods and even CVS. They are a great purchase and instantly make you want to snuggle up.

I also believe that candles are a must. I actually never burn candles during the warmer months. Honestly, I have no idea why. I am however, always burning them during the Fall and Winter. It’s not only the scent but also the flame that I find so relaxing and inviting. I love the scents from Bath and Body and they are always running sales or sending out coupons. I tend to stock up on the winter scents at the end of the season so I am all set for next year.

One of the first things I do when I come home from work, is make a cup of tea or coffee. There is something so relaxing and comforting about being home and drinking a nice hot beverage. I can’t really explain it but I highly recommend it. Add a blanket and candle and you are all set!

You can’t go wrong with a vanilla scent. I love a really good woodsy smell as well. This throw look so soft and cuddly. You can’t beat the under $50 price tag that this one has.  I love the print on this one and the texture looks so cozy.

Hope you ladies are staying warm!
